ELIS. Olympia. 87th-90th Olympiad, 432-420 BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 17 mm, 2.69 g, 3 h). Eagle standing facing on prey animal, wings spread and head to left. Rev. Thunderbolt with wings below and volutes above; to left and right, F-A. BCD Olympia 55 (same dies). BCD Peloponnesos 624 (this coin). Seltman pl. VIII, 14. Rare and beautifully toned. The reverse a bit weak, otherwise, very fine.
